Successful Pilot Program Leads to First Significant Contract Win for Advisian Digital’s Requis
Advisian Digital is pleased to announce that after a successful pilot program, Shell Qatar’s Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) Operations has awarded them a five-year contract, managing the sale of materials and goods via the Requis Marketplace.
Requis is Advisian Digital’s proprietary in-house developed marketplace platform with a centralized web-based platform, bringing global sellers and buyers together, increasing their exposure and improving their recovery on surplus materials.
Requis provides this facility with global exposure to maximize the sale of goods and equipment, freeing up project cash flow. The data-driven approach includes the identification of sales, including uploading certifications and inspection reports where available, with the scope covering field services, logistics, customs clearances and inspection services.
Shell joins a growing list of successful client pilot programs for global clients, including other international and national oil companies, as well as clients from other diverse industries. This means the Requis Marketplace continues to expand, providing many opportunities for other organizations to join the platform.
Tony Nitchov, Managing Director of Advisian Digital’s Asia Pacific operations said, “As Requis was developed wholly in-house, it demonstrates that our talented team can identify a specific need in the market, using their skills and capability to deliver a solution that works at all levels. The series of successful pilots across the globe are providing more opportunities for us to expand the marketplace, not just in the oil and gas sector, but in other industries as well, essentially disrupting the procurement supply chain network.”
